Artist: Gregg Liberi
Pen to paper. Brush to canvas. Finger to screen.

A few years ago, Gregg Liberi discovered the tactile pleasure of drawing on his iPhone and iPad - with his fingers. Shortly afterward he began sharing his drawings on social media sites, giving online viewers a daily dose of digital art and the opportunity for comment.

In Digit(al) Art, Gregg Liberi iPad Drawings at Gallery 707 in Pittsburgh, the artist shares hundreds of drawings that will be exhibited onscreen and in projection. The drawings reflect the immediacy of gestural touch while simultaneously employing the precision of digital technology. With an emphasis on the act of drawingitself, themes of inner and outer space, cause and effect, genetics, and anatomy are explored in luminous drawings.

Viewers of the exhibition will also have the opportunity to take away an interactive element for future exploration.
