Guest curated by Sean Beauford

Poison: a powerful look at the enduring relationship between drugs and the urban community. Poison seeks to offer insight into a world that is often condemned, occasionally glorified, and mostly avoided at all costs. Unfortunately, for millions across the United States, this world is unavoidable. Poison vividly depicts this struggle while examining its origins and looking at ways we as a society can move forward together.

The exhibition, curated by Sean Beauford, relies heavily on photography, installation, and first hand accounts to tell the story of those affected by drug consumption and production. Featured artists include Good Mike, Hannibal Hopson, Amani Davis, LinShuttr, and Grits Capone, with contributions from Ike Onyewuenyi.
