Individual Partners and Circles Membership
Help set the stage!
The Trust relies on the generosity of individuals like you to help sustain the cultural and economic growth of Pittsburgh's Cultural District. Presenting world-class performing and visual arts is demanding and as a non-profit, the Trust cannot rely on ticket-sales alone. The Trust maintains the Benedum Center, Byham Theater, Cabaret at Theater Square, O'Reilly Theater and Harris Theater and numerous art galleries in which the Trust and resident companies present a wide variety of productions - this is a costly venture.
The Trust's Education and Community Outreach Department hosts a range of educational programming which provides arts encounters that many people would not otherwise experience. The Trust promotes public art and parks, parking enhancements and improved lighting and safety throughout the Cultural District. Did we mention the free festivals produced by the Trust including the International Children's Theater, Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival, First Night® Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh Festival of Lights?
We cannot do any of this without you. As a Partners or Circles member you will help us reach our 10,000 Member Challenge and receive fantastic benefits in return.
In addition to the amazing benefits that you receive as a Trust member, your support of a membership gift will…
- Offer the opportunity to enjoy exciting activities in downtown Pittsburgh's dynamic Cultural District
- Provide the chance to meet fascinating people who share similar interests
- Connect you with one of the most exciting and visionary organizations in the city: The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust
- Affect change for the better in downtown Pittsburgh and give you a voice that allows your thoughts to be heard as one of the best ways that you can make a difference in the future of our city
Gifts made to The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust are tax-deductible. Consult your tax advisor for more information.
To promote charitable giving, many companies match their employees' gifts to nonprofit organizations, which may double your gift. If your company has a matching gift program, your contribution can be generously increased and will do even more to support the Trust's mission. You will be credited with the matching gift, likely increasing your benefits and membership level. Check with your Human Resources Department to see if your company matches charitable contributions.
While this list is not exhaustive, some of the local companies that match their employees’ charitable contribution include:
H. J. Heinz
Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield
