Fusion Illusion is a 6-piece progressive jazz fusion band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The band was formed in 2021 by Henry Schultz and Brandon Terry, who played together as part of Funky Fly Project. Together they have played on and shared nearly 300 stages in the last nine years and have traveled as far as Chicago, Illinois (Featured act at Andy’s Jazz Club), Memphis, Tennessee (Represented by the Blues Society of Western PA as a featured act at the 2020 International Blues Challenge) and Charlotte, North Carolina (The Pizazz Smooth Jazz Festival, with Kenny G, Dave Koz and the Summer Horns, Gerald Albright, Richard Braun, Richard Elliot, Aubrey Logan, and Bob James and the Bob James Trio). Brandon is currently a Senior at CAPA High School, and Henry is a Junior at Duquesne University.

Fusion Illusion made their debut in the summer of 2021 at the Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival, where they were invited to perform at the opening reception for the headliner, Chaka Khan. The core group is made of Henry Schultz on keys, Brandon Terry on drums, Jacob Zang on guitar, María Castellón (professionally known as MarsCas) on bass, and Alex Perez on trumpet. The talented and powerful vocalist Letizia Collini is the latest member added to the group six months ago. Fusion Illusion is a new, diverse powerhouse of music that emulates good vibes and embodies the spirit of art that endures.
