About This Performance

“[Dindo’s] face was as expressive as his sound, projecting pure, unmitigated joy” –Cincinnati Enquirer

Italian cellist Enrico Dindo makes his PSO debut with a concerto Shostakovich originally composed for famed cellist Mstislav Rostropovich.  Gianandrea Noseda conducts Dvořák's Seventh, a glorious hymn to Czech nationalism that sings dramatically of his love for his Bohemian homeland.
