This is a Featured Event at the 2018 Pittsburgh Humanities Festival. Learn how to extend your trip to the Cultural District and see the full Festival lineup including events on this day here.

Your Night, You Decide.

Multiple Choice allows you to choose your own event - you can see a show, go to a party, grab a bite to eat at our food truck roundup, or any combination of those at one event.

Multiple Choice Let’s Talk features Allison Rapson and Kassidy Brown of We Are the XX. Join us for a panel as we discuss their most recent documentary series “A Woman’s Place: Documenting the Front Lines of Feminism,” moderated by Pittsburgh’s own Kahmeela Adams of RuggedAngel Productions. Afterwards, there will be a talkback for audience members to ask questions and start a dialogue with Rapson and Brown.

Together, Rapson and Brown founded We are the XX with the mission to expose the world we live in; a world that is, in fact, fifty percent female and unapologetically so. In their most recent documentary series, “A Woman’s Place: Documenting the Front Lines of Feminism,” Rapson and Brown travel across the globe embedding themselves with young female revolutionaries, leaders and activists. Licensed to Refinery29, the series was a breakout hit garnering millions of views with an audience demand for more.

Or, join us at 9 PM for a closing party of the Pittsburgh Humanities Festival, featuring an open forum. Start conversations with fellow event-goers, or, if you attend other Festival events, continue previous conversations with others and continue exploring what it means to be human.

Food truck entry is free, and will be available throughout the evening.

Presented in partnership with the Pittsburgh Humanities Festival, a production of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and The Humanities Center at Carnegie Mellon University: March 2-4, 2018.
