Each year the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust rolls out the red carpet to welcome a new season of performances and presentations in the Cultural District. Since its inception in 1998, the annual fall gala has raised nearly $8.5 million from individuals and businesses sharing the Cultural Trust’s commitment to the arts. ABOUT: Join us for an evening of roaring fun with the sounds of Electro Swing performed by GINKGOA. Our modern glam setting will shimmer with Art Deco’s silver, juxtaposed with saturated modern tones creating a very suave but snappy atmosphere. GINKGOA is a French/American Pop Electro Swing Band founded in Paris in 2010. The band is led by American Nicolle Rochelle, singer, author, and dancer, and Antoine Chatenet, French composer and producer. Together they embarked on a journey of making French songs with an American vibe and American songs with a French touch where time periods cross and inspirations collide from Pop Music, to the Swing of old New York with a mix of Electro beats.
GINKGOA has one purpose – “to make generations of people dance, sway and sing along to melodies that stay in your head long after they have left the stage.” Practice your Charleston, Swing and bee-bopping Jive and join us at the GLAM SLAM GALA!
