This year, our celebration of life and to honor the cancer Warriors, will be hosting two days, one at the Pittsburgh Winery with The Bill Henry Band, and our Gala will again be at 6pm the August Wilson African American Cultural Center.

As I reflect on this "journey" we call life, I am reminded that we Must continue to embrace each opportunity that we have to come together and love on one another, shining as beacons for the next generation to build on and broaden our work. If anyone doubts the veracity of this, simply turn on the news. Each year, since the passing of my granddaughter and the Providential cancer research that followed, we have been on a path to heighten awareness in the area of cancer research and what each of us can do on a grassroots level to participate.
