In entering Mischa Kuball’s installations, viewers cross the barrier from the physical to the metaphysical, into a space in which almost complete darkness is interrupted by moving images of words and light. In environments both disorienting and compelling, Kuball forces us to collapse traditional language and transcend physical space.
