A group exhibition addressing current art practice will feature new works by Cara Erskine, Ryan Lammie, Chris Beauregard, Jonathan Chamberlain, Brian Brown, and Martin Swift. These Pittsburgh artists’ use of polished materials will generate new ideas of authorship and authenticity, investigating refined uses of space, and the construction of narrative. Their aesthetically layered exploration will serve as a clever cultural response, with 2D and sculptural works promising to be both conceptually relevant and visually fascinating.
This show will look money.
Jointly curated by Chamberlain and Brown. Opening during the Gallery Crawl, September 28th, and continuing with regular gallery hours through November 3rd. 937 Liberty Avenue, second floor.
