In Cast of Characters, curators Vicky Clark and Cindy Lisica bring together six diverse artists with character-driven work to question the nature of our everyday existence and our relationship to larger-than-life heroes and gods. Characters’ stories combine through humor, insight, passion and intellect, causing us to contemplate our world and question our place within it. Participating artists include: Mr. Glaubitz (Tijuana), Mark Newport (Detroit), Rei Sato (Tokyo and Taipei), Jeff Schwarz (Brooklyn), FriendsWithYou (Los Angeles), and Janet Towbin (Phoenix).
