This season the Pittsburgh Symphony will be returning to the Carnegie Libraries of Pittsburgh (CLP) for a new program entitled: PSO in the Libraries.

Created in collaboration with the CLP staff, we encourage everyone to come as they are for a wonderful hour of music, community, and interaction. We welcome everyone to experience the music of the PSO in these friendly, warm community settings – the CLP libraries!

From January through June, PSO musicians in small chamber ensembles will present one-hour interactive concerts in six CLP locations across the City of Pittsburgh. These sessions will include speaking, playing, and a Q&A with the musicians. Each concert will feature different musicians and a unique selection of music.

Thank you to the following funders that have made this program possible: Allegheny Regional Asset District, the Pennsylvania Department of Education, and the Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development.
