In THE MAGIC LESSON acclaimed sleight-of-hand artist DAN KAMIN pulls the curtain on the rogue’s gallery of criminals, con men and master magicians who taught him the tricks of the trade. But when Dan’s video avatar tries to muscle in on the action there is a titanic battle for magical supremacy. Sparks will fly!

“Dan Kamin conjures up an evening of unforgettable characters, irresistible comedy and unbelievable magic. Pure delight!” --Mary Leb, Carnegie Hall, Lewisburg, WV

"A flawless program, an amazing performance, the only performer in recent years to earn a standing ovation." - Florida State University.

A master of movement as well as magic, Dan Kamin created Johnny Depp's physical comedy sequences in BENNY & JOON and the Martian movement for Tim Burton's MARS ATTACKS! He trained Robert Downey, Jr. for his Academy Award-nominated performance in CHAPLIN and played the wooden Indian that came to life in the cult classic CREEPSHOW 2. Dan's Pittsburgh fans know him for his appearances on MR. ROGERS' NEIGHBORHOOD and performances on virtually every local stage. He has earned worldwide acclaim for his solo theatre shows and appearances with major symphony orchestras. A proud graduate of Carnegie Mellon, Dan Kamin is pleased to be presenting the Pittsburgh debut of THE MAGIC LESSON, his never-before-revealed origin story, for the enjoyment of his fellow Pittsburghers.
