CYRUS CHESTNUT’S AFRICAN REFLECTIONS QUINTET
A trip to Senegal inspired soulful jazz pianist Cyrus Chestnut to create a new collection of material-- jazz filtered through African rhythms and pieces influenced by Cyrus’ own experiences on his journey. The African Reflections quintet features: Cyrus Chestnut on piano; Steve Carrington, saxophone, Eric Wheeler, bass; Neal Smith, drums; and Kweku Sumbry, percussions.
