From the necessity of his life circumstances to his ongoing practice of creative thinking and conceptualization of projects within a transdisciplinary practice, Bill Shannon will trace his relationship to creativity over the course of his career.
Bill Shannon is an internationally renowned performance and media artist who, as a physically disabled child, relied heavily on his innate creative impulses to solve complex movement patterning on an onging real time basis for peer survival. That early experience of creativity as necessity led to an entire practice of art built around following, listening and waiting for creative solutions to make themselves apparent.
