The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation in Pennsylvania and its potential impact on our venues and events. The safety of our guests, staff, and artists is of paramount importance and as we continue to follow the leadership of our public health and government officials, all Pittsburgh Cultural Trust performances, exhibitions, films, and events through April 6 have been cancelled or postponed.
As a result, Bookish in the 'Burgh has been cancelled. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
We appreciate your understanding and flexibility in this dynamic situation, and as always, thank you for your support of the arts in Pittsburgh. We look forward to welcoming you back into our theaters and venues for amazing events and experiences in the arts. Please continue to check this page for regular updates.
The Bookish in the 'Burgh Teen Day is FREE. Attendees will enjoy panel sessions themed around diverse topics including LGBTQIA+ representation, paths to publication, fantasy world building, the importance of representing people of color in teen literature, and more. A pop-up bookstore will be open on-site from Festival sponsor Riverstone Books, and there will be free hands-on activities for teens throughout the day. The day will culminate in an Author Signing Party in the evening. Event locations: Trust Arts Education Center (807 Liberty Ave.) and Harris Theater (809 Liberty Ave.).
Registration is currently at capacity for the following sessions at Bookish in the 'Burgh FREE Teen Day. Please complete this form with your information to be placed on the standby list. More details will be sent to everyone on the standby list closer to the event.
