Yondr

Yondr, a San Francisco-based technology company, has developed phone pouches that lock phones in specific areas of a facility during performances. Here are some important things to know about Yondr as you prepare for your visit to the Cultural District:

  • No cellphones, smart watches, cameras or recording devices will be allowed at this performance.
  • Upon arrival, all phones and smart watches will be secured in Yondr pouches that will be unlocked at the end of the show. Yondr cases are lockable, flexible, neoprene pouches.
  • You will maintain possession of your phone throughout the night, and if needed, you may access your phone at designated Yondr unlocking stations in the lobby.
  • Patrons found to be using mobile devices in the phone-free zone during this performance will be asked to leave the venue and will not be issued a refund.

While Yondr phone cases may be required during select performances offered by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Yondr phone cases will not be a standard for all Pittsburgh Cultural Trust venues and events. Specific performers and tours choose to utilize Yondr, and the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust will keep you updated as new technologies are implemented in our venues. The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust will continue to alert patrons when touring shows use Yondr or other new technologies.
